Gil
When I eat something it tastes saltier than it should. Even when I don't put salt in it. Is this an early symptom of something, if so what?
luuknam
I'm sure it *could* be a symptom of something. That said, could it be that your water for some random reason contains more sodium than normal? No idea if that's plausible or not. I know that when I lost a lot of weight, everything tasted a lot sweeter to me, so I'm wondering if you could be low on electrolytes and craving salt. Is your experience of stuff tasting saltier a good or bad thing? Obviously, any odd sensory issue could be neurological, since your nervous system/brain is how you process sensations. There might be other possible explanations too. I actually saw free water sample testing kits at Home Depot (take water sample, mail it in (postage already paid)). I don't know if they test stuff like sodium levels (and other things that can taste salty). Edited April 15, 2016 by luuknam
