Juliegmom
Has anyone used the literature guides from Bright Ideas Press. Are they well done? I'm looking for a good lit guide for The Bronze Bow. It must be something that I can download. Thank you!

mamamoose
How old is your kiddo? I have the first year, and don't love it but don't hate it either. I think it's geared toward 6-8th graders and my kids are 6, 8, and 10.
Juliegmom
She is almost 11, wrapping up 5th grade. Would you mind sharing what you don't like about it? Edited April 15, 2016 by Juliegmom
mamamoose
About Illuminations or the literature guides?
Juliegmom
The literature guides. :-)
mamamoose
Well I don't think the literature guides are worth buying Illuminations. They are helpful but honestly you could come up with them on your own. I still have to read all the books because the literature guides don't provide answers. And honestly, the entire Illustrations program has proven almost useless for us. Edited April 15, 2016 by mamamoose
