I was so stressed about the whole issue of how schools are listed on the fafsa (and how admissions can use that information). I was reading yesterday that beginning this year schools cannot view which schools you apply to. They've altered it. Seriously? Took a load off my mind. JanetC Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 Seriously! It is 95% phased out this year, and 100% phased out next year. This year, state-funded scholarship programs that require you to list an in-state public as your first choice on the FAFSA can still see if your FAFSA lists an in-state public first.
