Free Indeed Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I know several of you practice jiu Jitsu and I was just wondering what the cost of lessons are. I know it will vary by area, but just looking to get an idea of what to expect. The girls are 12 and 15 if that helps. Quote
JadeOrchidSong Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 We do Shaolin Kenpo, a kind of maryptial arts. It averages $11.5 per person for a one-hour class. When two students of the same family sign up, then the rest of the family go free. So we are paying $23 for one hour for 4 of us. It is expensive, but we all like it a lot. 1 Quote
Jenn121 Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 we do taekwondo and it is $125 per month for 2-3 classes a week,(depending on belt level) although we could come to as many as we wanted. Each subsequent person is discounted significantly and after the 3rd person it is free. Quote
Butter Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 I think costs vary from place to place and not just from discipline to discipline. We do taekwondo and the basic 2 (minimum) classes a week is around $100 a month per person for the first two people in a family (well, that's what it was when we originally signed up in 2013... it may be totally different now). You never pay more than the amount for 2 people. Quote
