Calvert Math-8th grade

Any opinions or reviews on this? My son is using Singapore Math, but the Calvert looks great on the surface. I would love to hear opinions. Thanks!

In a word- overpriced. Singapore is much better. Unless you were referring to the Math in Focus Calvert also offers. In which case, that is a great program but could still be bought for less used off Amazon.

There is nothing special about Calvert Math. It's a book, a workbook, and answer keys. If you are looking for something interactive that tracks progress and gives review, I recommend ALEKS.

The 8th grade course served us very well for a rigorous pre-algebra, but since DD had used Calvert math from Grade 3 up there was a natural progression.

 

I am not sure that I would hop across from Singapore, as the methodology is very different.
