I just want to skip today.  It is my birthday.  I've grown to dislike it on many levels.  Any chance I could just go back to bed and sleep the day away and skip it all?  :crying:   Nah, I didn't think so either.  *sigh*

Happy birthday!  It is my birthday today too....and it is not going very well so far...I have things to do today that I don't want to do and my husband greeted me with "Happy birthday---we will have to celebrate this weekend."  It's only Tuesday....sigh....I can' tell you that by the weekend, I will not have any desire to celebrate my birthday.  Bless his heart, he is really busy at work and I think that was just code for "I forgot to get you anything or plan anything for your birthday"

 

I had this fantasy of sneaking off to just go back to bed for the day, but I have deadlines and people that need stuff!  

 

Here's to both of us somehow having a great day anyway! :cheers2:

Awww... I'm sorry. Happy Birthday! Our only birthday tradition is to go out to eat. No gifts because there is never anything anybody wants, and I'm including the kids! Sometimes they don't even want a cake.

Happy Birthday! My last few b-days were celebrated by getting my choice of take-out and dessert. Nothing else different; I still cleaned up the kitchen afterward. :laugh:

It's our 30th anniversary today.  Dh is away on a rare business trip. 

But it's actually funny because I have no expectations from him today, and can just relax & enjoy it.

Make today special exactly the way you choose, not looking to others!

Happy Birthday. It's my birthday too. I'm not really doing much to celebrate. DH did offer up a few things, but I don't know, I just don't really feel like doing anything. Next year is a big one for me, and I would like to do something for that - already have some ideas - so I'm okay with this one and the past few being very low key :)
