Will your daughter work off a screen? If so, very little. If not, the copy masters.

If you have a screen, you can read the lesson plans on there too.

We do have an iPad that she uses for learning games and reading. I hadn't even thought of that. Is there no writing involved?

Almost nothing. There are a few maze style pages, but she can use her finger to trace over them or lay some string over them or whatever. How old is she? You probably won't want to use it for K. It's more suited to preschool unless she's got language issues. If she's doing K next year, MEP1 will be too hard, so I'd recommend CSMP K, then MEP1. You can probably start MEP1 about half way through CSMPK.

She will still be in a public preschool half day, but is more of a K level. She's ready for K math now and is doing simple addition and subtraction. Number recognition beyond 10 isn't perfect though.

What is CSMP?

Oh I have seen that program. I looked at it last year, but forgot about it completely. Could I do that one on screen as well?

Yes, she's beyond PreK, but as of right now my husband wants to send her to school. She comes home asking to learn more numbers and read.

Yep, the lesson plans can be read off the screen, but I'd recommend getting the storybooks printed if you can. We read them off the screen, but if I'd been able to print them nicely, I think my dd would have revisited them. I didn't use any of the stuff from the other links for K.

You'd want c-rods, a geoboard and attribute blocks. If you don't get the sort of attribute blocks they have, you'll have to tweak the lessons, which isn't hard, but mildly annoying. I highly recommend a magnetic erase board if you don't have one lying around. It comes in *so handy* when you want scratch paper. If something is incorrect, you can erase it, leaving no list of "failure" lol.

I think it's a good program to use for enrichment for schooled kids because it's a different method to what they (likely) learn at school and will complement instead of rendering the child bored to death by repetition.

Thanks! We do have a magnetic dry erase board and I'll start buying the other things as well. I've been dying to buy c-rods since I think she'll love them. Her school will use Singapore Essentials for K so I don't mind something different. And if she's ahead, they differentiate for math and reading so she could go to 1st for math if needed. I am excited to do math with her next year.
