aug17girl Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I cooked a turkey on Monday and never got around to making broth with the bones. Would you still use the bones to make broth or would you consider them too old for food safety reasons? They have been in the fridge since Monday. Quote
kewb Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I would make the broth unless the bones smelled funky. 1 Quote
aug17girl Posted April 1, 2016 Author Posted April 1, 2016 Thanks! I get paranoid when it comes to poultry. Quote
xixstar Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 If they smell fine, absolutely. But depends on your fridge too, puts it keeps quite cold so things last longer than average anyways. Quote
