ikuradesuka
What is it called when a child is gifted, but does not process information quickly? What about when they are gifted, but can't remember things? Thanks.
Arcadia
I don't know but my DS10 is that way  his processing speed is much lower than his other scores on the WISC. He can remember things he is interested in but you can see the effort in concentrating, compared to usual distractedness. ETA: We have him evaluated for ADHD because we didn't know if he was. mathnerd
What is it called when a child is gifted, but does not process information quickly? Slow Processing Speed which is measured as a PSI (Processing Speed Index) in IQ tests. Here is some information on it: http://www.davidsongifted.org/db/Articles_id_10782.aspx
