Flowergirl159
What have you found worked for teaching French or having your child learn it independently? My girls are 7, 9 and 11. We have only touched on French very lightly. The older two use Duolingo for French. I need a curriculum or program to follow, even if it's altogether or separately or both. As long as it is suitable for their ages and levels.
madteaparty
Do you know any French at all? If so, Galore Park.
fourisenough
We've been in a local/live class at co-op + used Duolingo. I'm planning on DD11 using both French for Children A & B next year, then she'll begin French 1 at WTMA the following year. Oldest did Potters School JH French then French 1-3 at PS in high school. Roadrunner
I second the Galore Park recommendation. It's perfect for ages 11 and 9, but your 7 year old will probably have to pace it slower. I haven't found another program for this age group that's equally good.
Jane Elliot
I recently asked about Classical Academic Press's French for Children and got some thoughtful responses here. You may find this helpful.
