BooksandBoys Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 After I've downloaded my audible books into iTunes on my computer, do I retain access to those downloaded books if I cancel my audible subscription? If not, is there another way to "own" the audiobooks I've purchased? Thanks! Quote

If not, is there another way to "own" the audiobooks I've purchased? Thanks! Yes. You retain access even if you have not downloaded them. I had a membership back in the late 90s and downloaded a bunch of stuff. (I bought one of their players at the time). When they went to getting 1 book a month for your money (increased price) instead of two, I decided it was no longer worth it and cancelled. Over a decade later, I got an ipod Touch. I downloaded the Audible app and was able to download and listen to ALL that stuff I bought for a totally different device again. And listened to it for several years before getting a new membership right before Christmas that I am on now. (I just finally paired it with Amazon and got rid of my old username access in the last two weeks) Edited March 27, 2016 by vonfirmath Quote
