Spam tastes good for breakfast.  We learned we liked it in HI.  I can't vouch for its healthiness though.   :glare:

Spam on the computer (sigh).  I suppose I can understand.  All of us who can't sleep need to click on all sorts of links to amuse ourselves - even those we can't read - and our bank account is memorized so we can order more stuff or accept lottery winnings or help widows keep their millions or... you know, super useful things.

The spambot still appears to be up and active this morning.  Otherwise, it's just me (and the cats) here.  I'd love to have slept in since we had a late night last night enjoying youngest son coming home for spring break, but my body doesn't believe in sleeping in.  The cats are thankful at least.

The sun is starting to come up now, but I don't want to do too much right away and wake them up...

We have a ton of yardwork and gardening we hope to get accomplished today.  It needs to warm up a little.  33 degrees at the moment.  Brr!

What do these spammers hope to accomplish?  I don't get the point.

If I understand how it works correctly, it's not really a person.  It's a robotic (spambot) code set up to do nothing but find websites and post these things.  Originally, of course, it was set up by a person, but that person probably doesn't even know the Hive exists.  They don't care how many worthless places these things end up.  Evidently they must end up at some worthy places and enough people click on them to activate a counter or buy things or whatever the specific spam is for.

At least, that's how it was explained to me when I was in a computer class once.   :coolgleamA:

I regret to inform folks that I did not have actual Spam for breakfast  :crying: .  I don't keep it in the house.  We only eat it on special (nostalgic) occasions due to its ranking on the health-meter.  This is a day when that was helpful I suppose... as this thread certainly touched neurons that told me today would be a perfect day for it.  :glare:

Alas, my body had to be content with two fried eggs and the usual green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and spinach side - no Spam.
