domestic_engineer Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 For all you MCT users, where do you turn to for support and help in teaching the curriculum? The RFWP forum and the old RFWP Yahoo group are helpful but not very active. Is there anything more active than the "official" channels? Quote
quelques_fleur Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 That's all I use for my support. I read through past threads using the search function for whenever I have a particular question. I'd like to hear what others are using myself. Quote
TriciaT Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 I haven't really had questions, but we've only gone through the island level so far. I think I would ask right here[emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3 Quote
Targhee Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I come here. Do you have questions about it right now? Quote
domestic_engineer Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 Yes - I have questions right now.... (a) If I need to brush up on my own grammar skills and I want to stay with the MCT line-of-thinking, what book should I use for self-education? Just the highest level of grammar in the MCTLA sequence? (b) Is there a comprehensive list of errata for the current printing of Practice Town? I'm on sentence 60 and don't understand why "immediately" is labeled an ADJ and not ADV. Thanks. Quote
basketcase Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I might use grammar voyage to brush up on grammar as an adult? That's the one we use most often as a reference here, but any of the higher levels would likely work. Just not grammar island, since it doesn't discuss verbal phrases. I think there's a list of errata on the RFWP forum - that's the only place I've seen errors listed. Quote
