ProudGrandma Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I received many viable options from everybody here...so I am now thinking this might be my plan, but i am not sure how to make it work. I am thinking of using Notgrass "Exploring Government" with both of my older kids. (grades 9th and 10th next year) But, now I have 3 questions: 1) would this book be too hard for my 9th and 10th grader? I want to do this because of the up coming election...and my kids have been quite interested in it all. 2) since that is only 1/2 year...what do I do the other half? The Notgrass Economics course? 3) Would you buy 2 Student books...or make your kids share? It appears that they are making a new edition by Dec 2016...so I should be able to find current editions used. I hope. thanks. Quote

No, not too hard for younger high schoolers. 2) since that is only 1/2 year...what do I do the other half? The Notgrass Economics course? Notgrass economics is a choice. You could spend extra time on the elections and/or other topics to make the course longer and fill out a full credit. 3) Would you buy 2 Student books...or make your kids share? It appears that they are making a new edition by Dec 2016...so I should be able to find current editions used. I hope. Share, unless your students don't share well. :) Quote
