ok...netflix users. It's finally here. PIN code access to access any content with a rating that you set. Ours is set to little kids. You have to go into your account on a computer and change it there under your account and parental controls. I've been waiting for this for the past 9 years!

This is great because it is so easy to switch into another profile. Now it's locked down and no more accidentally streaming that teen Disney stuff or adult content.

Have you found a way to do this that doesn't end the ability to make lists for that profile? I don't like that with a child account it shows all the shows in the acceptable rating range, so SpongeBob is right there with Curious George.

Checking this out! Each of my kids had a profile, but I don't want them switching to mine.

I do wish I could block certain shows from their account, but this is an improvement.

I think the ability to make a list has to do with te device you are using to access Netflix. I can create lists for my kids, but they don't show up on our Roku which is connected to the tv.

Can they still delete what they have watched if they so chose?

How do you delete titles? I have a couple that I watched a few minutes of and didn't like. I can't seem to get them to disappear from my carousel.

I go on my computer and edit my play lists there. I also will hover over the stars rating for a selection and give it low ratings. That seems to help with remove those selections from the suggestions.

I really really really wish they'd only show the movies and shows I choose the kids to see. My kids are GREAT about only choosing from their list but it'd be a much smoother experience if that was literally all they could see. There's a ton of g rated garbage we do not allow, and plenty of "grown up" documentaries they ARE allowed (encouraged) to watch. Boo netflix, gimme more :)
