OneStepAtATime
DS is all things Star Wars at the moment. I was looking for some Star Wars based resources to incorporate into some of our subjects (he has had a tough couple of years so anything that perks him up I look into). I found this and thought I would post a link in case someone else was interested. I also wanted to ask if anyone else had helpful resources for a Star Wars buff? http://www.starwarsintheclassroom.com/index.asp

AdventuresinHomeschooling
I bought my son a Star Wars math book for him to do independently after I just had a baby to keep his skills sharp. He likes it and does it easily without much help. It's like a summer bridge type book. Just do a preview. Depending on what curriculum you use, it may be a little light. I just bought the next grade up.

Guest2
We had friends that put on plays based on these: http://www.amazon.com/William-Shakespeares-Star-Trilogy-34-inch/dp/1594747911 Maybe getting used to the language would make Shakespeare easier? I know it sounded like a blast! Edited March 21, 2016 by Silver Brook

He can't wait to start them!

MistyMountain
I am so glad I read this thread. I just requested the Star Wars Shakespeare book from the library. They even have online audio versions and a cd version of it. I also will be reading that World War II comparison which he will really enjoy.
OneStepAtATime
Also, just for fun videos that fill in information regarding Star Wars... https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=star%20wars%20minute DS last night grabbed a notebook and pencil and started copying down books, comic books and other reading recommendations from this guy. The creator of Star Wars Minute did a Star Wars minute on reading material released in 2015 and DS was intrigued. This is my dyslexic/dysgraphic guy so voluntarily reading/writing was nice to see. :)
