ILiveInFlipFlops Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 (edited) Does anyone have any thoughts on this mystery? I just bought a good light therapy lamp and have used it for two days now. Yesterday I was an exhausted mess but chalked it up to having a busy week. I conked out on the couch at 10 p.m., where DH left me for the night. I slept 8 solid hours and woke up at 6:30 this morning feeling fairly refreshed. I used the lamp for 20-25 minutes, and by 11:00, I was ready to crawl back into bed for the rest of the day :( I really bought the lamp for someone else, but I've been feeling very low-energy lately, so I thought I'd try it out myself as well. I'm generally pretty sluggish, but not like this. Is this just one of those things you have to get through in order to start seeing benefits from the therapy? I was doing some online research and I'm not seeing anyone talking about this. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea why it might be happening? I'd like to try again tomorrow to see if the effect is the same, but I have to do some late-day driving, and I'm kind of afraid of what might happen! Thanks.
