Ds11 has done Story of the World 4 volumes and Mystery of History 4 volumes along with his big brother ds13. He will do America the Beautiful with ds13 in 2016-2017 in his 6th grade year. He is tired of hisotry now. What should he do after America the Beautiful and in high school?

Ds11 has also done all the elementary Apologia science including Physics and Chemistry. Our co-op has covered the lectures and the labs for all except physics and chemistry. In 2016-2017, the co-op will do Human Anatomy and Physiology with lab. We already read this aloud once a couple years ago. So this will be good for him to read independently and do the lab at co-op. However, it will not take the whole year for him to read. Another option is for him to do Apologia General Science at home while listening to the lecture and do the lad at co-op for Human anatomy. My plan is for him to do apologia general science, physical science, and then Clover Creek physics, before going on to Apologia biology. Would you start him on Apologia general science in 2016-2017? He will turn 12 in the middle of the school year. It is a possibility that he can join three friends to do general science lab every other week.

Clover Creek Physics will replace 8th grade physical science.

This is music to my ear!

Ds13 is currently finishing up physical science in a class. He did general science independently at home the year prior to this class,. I signed him up for 2016-2017 Clover Creek physics for 8th/9th grade. I guess there will be some repetition.

So for ds11, I will plan to have him take general science in 2017 followed by Clover Creek Physics in 2018. He will be 13 yrs and 8 mos old and will have finished 2 years of algebra 1.

Thanks for helping me with the decision.

For history, I will let him do America the Beautiful. Ds13 will do this set, too. For 7th grade he can do a year of geography. I don't know what to use yet. Any advice is welcome.

SilverMoon, what is your 7th grader's cultural geography like?
