MS Notgrass or HS Geography?

My daughter will be in 7th grade next year and I am debating between using Notgrass's new world history (From Adam to Us) or going ahead with a 9th grade World Geography course.  I've never used Notgrass before at all, but it looks very good.

I wonder if anyone has used Notgrass?

Also, has anyone skipped it all and gone on ahead to Geography?  Geography is required in our state for graduation, so it's a common 9th grade course.

I received some feedback about skipping ahead in another board and it was super helpful. Now I'm trying to narrow down my options and see where to place her.

I love how it looks on the website and seems to be written really well, but I haven't talked to anyone who has used it for middle grades. Have you used any of their other books? Did you think they were thorough and interesting? Was the information retained?

We have been using the e-book version of Adam to Us and dd loves it. We have put it on hold for now and plan to continue once we receive the textbooks.

We've used America the Beautiful and Uncle Sam and You. My son enjoys them, and I never have to bug him to do history. We haven't done the writing portions, but we do the readings and any timeline and map work. History is a "get it done" subject for my older son. I don't do tests, but he does spontaneously tell us about stuff that he read about in his books if it comes up in real life (he takes the tests included in the books, and I think he is getting better at reading more closely so that he doesn't have to go back and look for answers, but we don't grade the tests or anything like that). He likes the biographical sketches that they include in the text and the source readings they include in the daily assignments.

I have a quirky learner, and it's important to me to have a couple of content subjects where he can just do the next thing without input from me. Notgrass does that really well, and it's enjoyable for him.
