I'd like to have him skip the 7th grade book and do the 8th grade book for 8th grade. Is this even realistic? I know the upper levels of R&S English can be tough. Ellie Posted March 18, 2016 Share Posted March 18, 2016 IDK. There's a big jump from Progressing With Courage to Building Securely. I don't know what it would be like to skip Building Securely and going directly to Preparing for Usefulness. It might be better to do Building Securely, then skip Preparing for Usefulness and go directly to Communicating Effectively (two books, done in either order).
