birchbark Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Where can I go for quality, modern, 100% cotton (NO polyester! Ugh!) tee shirts for both men and women? I recently discovered Crazy Shirts, but I'd like more options. Target used to have nice ones, but I don't see them anymore. And while I usually like the quality of Eddie Bauer and Land's End, their tees are too stretchy. Can anyone help me out? Quote
Pawz4me Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 LL Bean. I live in their supima cotton tees. Quote
Guest Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Me, too! I am so tired of my tees getting tiny holes in the fronts after two washings. I think it be my jeans rubbing on them? Obviously, I won't be needing any for a bit... Quote
SerenityNow Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 Have you looked at Duluth Trading Co? http://women.duluthtrading.com/store/womens/womens-shirts-womens-tops/womens-t-shirts/womens-t-shirts.aspx We have bought several things from there and they have all been super high quality. 4 Quote
TrixieB Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I would have said JCPenney, but the tees I bought last year got noticeably shorter on the first trip through the dryer. Grrr. Quote
ILiveInFlipFlops Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 (edited) I'm in the same boat--I cannot stand synthetic fabrics (to the point that it makes me shudder to touch them, let alone wear them, ugh). It's getting harder and harder to find 100% cotton, even if you're willing to pay the money. I live in those Target Merona Ultimate Tees, but I just looked online and now all I can find are a cotton/modal blend?! :crying: By modern, do you mean stylish/graphic/embellished tees, or do you just mean something with more of a nice fit rather than a big square? Eddie Bauer Ultimate Ts are great and are on sale for a good price right now. I did find that my last one got a bit pilly quickly, but that might have been the heather fabric. They also have tall sizes, which I love, because when they shrink they end up being just right on my long torso! And they're fitted nicely too. Gap no long has my very favorite Favorite Crew Ts anymore :crying: Dang it, I knew I should have bought 20 of them when I had the chance! But they do have some cute tees in a new "vintage wash" that look nice. And some men's Essentials popped up that looked good too. These are cute if you can wear them, and they're described as being "slub knit cotton." Not sure if that's blended with anything though. RedBubble is a little pricy, but their graphics are great, and the t-shirts are soft and comfortable. Teepublic t-shirts too. And I've been happy with Lands' End personally, but I did stop shopping there because their shirts do tend to shrink upward at an alarming rate, and that doesn't flatter me AT ALL! I don't have any men's suggestions, since DH is a bit of a clothes hog and buys his own stuff. Good luck shopping. I feel your pain! Edited March 18, 2016 by ILiveInFlipFlops 1 Quote

birchbark Posted March 18, 2016 Author Posted March 18, 2016 I guess Everlane's an option for solid tees. I forgot about them. Quote
birchbark Posted March 24, 2016 Author Posted March 24, 2016 Does anyone have experience with American Giant? I guess they have the world's best hoodie. They have cotton tees. Quote
