brett_ashley
He was feeling under the weather last week and we were snuggling in bed listening to a read-aloud. After the book was finished, I said, "I hope you snuggle me like this for your whole life!" He looked at me and said, "Mom, we both know that's not going to happen." I feigned shock and said, "What do you mean??" He said, "Well, you're not going to like this, but I'm going to snuggle you less and less each year and then stop completely in seventh grade. Then it's hugs only." I was laughing/crying on the inside!

UCF612
So you've just gotta keep him in 6th grade indefinitely! Edited March 17, 2016 by UCF612
fraidycat
Lol. He's got it all planned out already. Funny kid. I bet he'll be the one to plop on your lap at 16 or 20 just because he can! Heck, I'm totally NOT a snuggly person - even as a baby I didn't like being held, but I'll still cuddle up with my Mom or Dad on the couch to watch a movie or t.v. show and I'm almost 40.
