moonlight
Has your teen built a computer?? We'd love some input and advice! My son wants to build one for gaming and internet usage. Specific links on Amazon would be great if you are happy with what you bought. This will be his first go at it. We'd like decent stuff for him so we don't have to upgrade next month! :-) Thanks!
Lanny
I've seen other threads like this in the past. It will probably take 2 or 3 hours to assemble and hopefully, everything will work properly, after it is assembled. IMO, you would do better buying the components on eBay, from stores like NewEgg and other reputable companies on eBay. There is a lot of information available to give him information on the various components. TomsHardware might be a good place for him to begin the research on various components. http://www.tomshardware.com/
G5052
Also MicroCenter, although we have one within driving distance. We've gotten a few things here and there, but Amazon doesn't typically have the selection and prices.
mims
My son totally used NewEgg. Felt they were considered the best in the industry for quality and price.
MIch elle
Yup, my ds used MicroCenter and NewEgg to build his gaming computer. He hunted for several months to get the best prices.
