Today is planning day.  I need to lay out plans to carry us through the year of the academic year.

I still need to do tons of Latin prep.  We've been away from the text working on the NLE.  Now it's time to get back in the saddle!

Take 14 yo to voice lesson

Take 17 yo to piano lesson

Get a nice corn beef brisket so I can pop it into the slow cooker tomorrow to have a nice St. Patrick's Day feast tomorrow night.

Need nice Irish vegetarian option for my son though.

I have no idea what's for dinner tonight . . .

Hooray for this thread!  Hooray for Wednesday!  Hooray for it being the day after the deadline!

I do still have some reports to get out, but at least it's the other parties' fault that it wasn't done sooner.  ;)

I had a conference call this morning, which gave me a lot of stress because I wasn't as prepared as I wanted to be.  But I simply had to get some sleep last night.  Why on earth did I agree to an 8:30am call anyway?  The call went OK.  Definitely needed more coffee though.

Today is one of those days when I've done more productive things by 9am than many people do in a day.  :P

Yesterday was not a banner day.  My kids were crabbing at each other more than usual, one of them got injured, I was crabby, and after cranking all day, I missed a deadline by 2 minutes.  :/  Today has to be better - and hopefully will include a nap [for me]!

The list:

  • Work in the wee hours.  [done]
  • Get kids' AHG poster ready to go to school.  [done]
  • Clean mud off kid's school shoes.  :/  [done]
  • Kids ready & off to school bus on time.  [done]
  • Clean the bird cage.  [done]
  • Take out the garbage.  [done]
  • Clean the kitchen, bathrooms, and some clutter.  [done]
  • Remaining pet care.  [done]
  • Check emails etc.  [done]
  • Conference call, blah.  [done]
  • Get out some work reports etc.
  • Sneak a nap?
  • More work.
  • A little exercise.
  • A little reading.
  • Laundry.
  • Kids' work.
  • Family TKD.
  • Read-aloud.
  • Kids to bed.
  • Work.

Good Morning!

Yesterday I spent the day in Walter Reed seeing my favorite endocrinologist and making some big changes to my meds.

Today I need to grocery shop and run errands and mail out some goodie packages.

Have a great day everyone!

Wednesday is piano lessons. The weather isn't that nice out and it was a slightly wet walk home from lessons. ... But I did get to snuggle kittens when the boys played piano.

Wednesday is a light day for us. In addition to piano the only subjects are:

- Read stuff to yourself

- Do some Duolingo

- Learn redstone things and play minecraft with your friend

Dh and I have dance lessons tonight. :)

Time to get kids out of the shower and into bed. Reading the last chapter of The Magician's Nephew tonight.  :)

I am mostly caught up on the urgent stuff for now.  I do have a few reports to finish, but it can wait until morning.  Gonna get some sleep tonight.

My kids had a much better day today.  Played outside after school, did their homework and some extra math, enjoyed a chapter of Heidi.  Nobody got in trouble.  Yay!

Human care got done today

So did pet care

So did medical care including giving myself my shots

So did the chiropractor

And school

And all the birdfeeders and suet feeder and hummingbird feeder got refilled

And I got all the photos on my phone put on CDs

Started new med and dealt with fatigue so I didn't get as much done as I would have liked.
