Sahamamama Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 We've been pushing a bit harder than usual the past few weeks (with everything, not just school work), so the girls were a little worn out the other day. It was one of those rainy, sleepy days, too. I told them, "Go upstairs and take a nap, let's see if that snaps you back." They all went up gladly and fell sound asleep. I decide to "rest" while on the Boards. ;) Then I heard what sounded like someone upstairs crying. I thought, "Maybe one of the girls fell in between her bed and the wall and can't get out." (The twins recently got new beds). So I ran upstairs to check, softly opened the bedroom doors, and found all three girls sleeping peacefully. Came back down. Heard the sound again. Woooooo. Woooooo. Wooooooo. Went back up. Girls still peacefully asleep. Came back down. I went outside and looked up. On the roof, right over where I sit at this computer, was a family of five mourning doves. 11 Quote
fourisenough Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 The girls slept right through Nature Study time! We currently have turkey vultures nesting on our neighbor's house. They awful to look at, but so interesting! 1 Quote
