AggieMama
It's election year and my house is all into politics, including my 4 year old. I would like to give my kids a little bit of background of government and history to prepare for the election season. DD is going into 1st grade in the fall and can read at about the second grade level. Does anyone know a good introductory government and history curriculum for the level? Little sister who will be in kindergarten will probably tag along.
arliemaria
Listening in. My six year old asked me the other night if I liked Donald Trump. I guess I've had talk radio on a bit too much. :)
Starr
DK has children's books on government. Amazon has several.
Kerileanne99
Did you happen to catch the free download of the book that Farrar's husband wrote? For that age you might need to read it to them, but it would still be a great spine:) http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/563681-free-ebook-about-presidential-elections/?fromsearch=
