tinag
Do your kids like them?
BethInNH
We have a set that I got for ds a couple years back, and they are a real hit with every kid that comes over- even my 13 yo dd loves to play with them lol.:)

lynn
My kids really like them. they are a big hit with neighborhood kids that come over because they are something different.
mazakaal
My kids go through phases with them, not playing with them for weeks, then they can't get enough of them. My kids are like that with a lot of toys, though.
Alenee
They were great at first. Now I have to tell them, "you have to play with the wedgits right now." ;) Otherwise, they just sit gathering dust.
PameliaSue
It depends on the child. I have a builder who builds all of the time with legos and wooden blocks. He loves them and still plays with them... got them last Christmas. My non building children occasionally play with them.
K&Rs Mom
Mine have played with them at the art museum, and never spend more than about 3 minutes with them, including my younger who is a builder. I like the idea, but dc just aren't interested.
Prairie~Phlox
I thought they would be cool, they go through phases with them. I wish I hadn't spent the money on them. Phlox
swellmomma
I bought a set of 2nd hand no-name brand wedgits and they have been a hit. All 4 kids play with them, and the best part was they only cost me $1.50(I love thrift shops). I didn't want to spend the $$ the full priced real ones cost, but if you keep an eye out at thrift shops, or kijiji, etc you can likely find a cheap set. Even better post on freecycle you are looking for them, perhaps someone who had them flop at thier house will be happy to give them to you for free. I never feel bad about a toy flopping in my house when I got it for free or next to nothing.
Alphabetika
My younger dd loves her Wedgits. She got one set as a gift a few years ago, then I found another set at a thrift store. It's true that the more you have, the more fun they are. Like others have said, she goes through phases. I think these are the perfect thing to play with while listening to read-alouds. And the engineering-type dads who visit us love them, too! (As does my dh, a professional model builder)
Jennefer@SSA
My kids love them but I agree that they get more use out of them when there are more to play with...more options of things to do and build. Mine also love the idea cards that show different configurations. I have found those to be excellent for visual/spacial development!!! mamato3 all-boy boys
All my kids enjoy them. We have a double set, an expansion set and a set of cards. They make the best space ships....we've gone to the moon a lot in them. But, they do not play with them all the time, like they do with Legos. But, I'm happy to have them and I challenge to bigger boys to make a card design. I love the visuo-spatial element.
Catherine
My boys use them along with other toys, often, with their Lego minifigures (or as my dSIL calls them "dolls for boys"). They get played with intermittently, but enough that I'm glad I got them.
