Caroline
I will always remember her "Just say no!" campaign against drugs. And her guest appearance on Diff'rent Strokes when she told the President it would be OK to tell her he loved her in front of Speaker O'Neil. (I attended grade school with his grandchild, so that stuck in my head.)

East Coast Sue
I got to meet her at a dinner honoring her work to fight drug use. I think I was about 15 years old and President Reagan, Bob Hope and Frank Gifford surprised her at the dinner. It was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I got to meet all of them that night. Amazing memories! It's sad to think all of them have died.
umsami
I remember the red dress(es)! I felt bad for her after learning that President Reagan suffered from Alzheimer's. Even though I'm sure she had more help than most, it is so devastating to watch. I hope she was surrounded by loved ones when she passed.

OhanaBee
I remember thinking I was very cool and worldly when, as a teen, I scoffed at their "love story" and doubted the fact that she really loved him. {I grew up in Hollywood where not much could be trusted to be real if it was in the public arena]. I also remember all the remorse I felt when watching his funeral as she was sobbing over his coffin.
