Wipeable storage baskets?

I'm going to be doing a big deep clean, declutter and reorganization of my house once I'm done with work (2 more days!!).  One of the things I need are storage boxes/bins/baskets for on top of the kitchen cabinets.  I need something that looks nice, has a lid and can be wiped off.  Any suggestions?  I'm striking out with all my searches.

Ive never seen something like that. Have you tried Container Store?

Have you looked for metal containers? I have seen plenty of decorative metal boxes and such in my travels through Marshall's and TJ Maxx and the like. It might take some doing to find the right number in the sizes you need, though.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I have ones very similar to these from Ikea, though mine are black with no hole on the side: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10280203/

 

They've been in my kitchen forever now.  They are easy to wipe down or rinse off and fit the clean lines look I have going on.

I picked up a couple of these on sale at Target last week.  I'm not sure exactly what size I bought, but two of them fit side by side on the top of my fridge, and there are other sizes to choose from.  Like you I was looking for something with a lid that was easily cleanable.  I was hoping for something a bit more decorative, but those were the best I could find locally.

 

ETA -- The ID label is only on one side, so if you don't want that showing (I didn't) you can face it to the rear.  Each box comes with two ID labels of differing colors.

Thank you all for the ideas.  I was hoping for something that doesn't look like a plastic bin - those ones for Target aren't too bad Pawz4me.  I think I may go with those.  

 

I'm worried metal will eventually rust, and I didn't see many with lids unless they were buckets.

 

I could get lost at the Container Store for hours but I wasn't see the kind of thing I"m looking for.

 

Why is it so hard to find something with a lid, that doesn't look like an ugly plastic storage bin?

The ones I see are grey or white (i need brown). Target or container store.

 

Check out curver.com. container store carries,some of,ghee stuff. May not have lids though.
