math in focus and algorithms

Does anyone know if Math in Focus explicitly teaches the stacking algorithm for adding multi digit numbers after student master the concept behind it?

 

DD7 is in first grade and so far, they are only doing smaller numbers, but I hope MIF does eventually teach the traditional algorithms eventually.

The 3A book does teach stack and add with regrouping. That's where we started MiF, so I couldn't tell you where it began.
