We currently reside in Las Vegas, it's February and we've already had days that have edged well into the 80's. I love to cook and bake and as the weather continues to get warmer, I'm planning on getting a convection oven to cook in during the upcoming hotter months. Last summer, June was the hottest month in the history of the area and I can't deal with the idea of turning on the oven.

Can anyone suggest a convection oven that is of a nice, roomy size?

Thank you!

Love my Samsung.  My old oven had so many problems that I really don't know if it's just an average oven or something really amazing, but it stays at the right temp, cooks things a lot faster than the old one, is easy to use, has a big oven space (could use all three racks for baking cookies), etc.

Do you mean a small oven that sits on the counter, like a toaster oven?

I own a convection oven, but it is a full sized one and I can't imagine it would be any different in the heat than turning on a non-convection oven.

I can highly recommend it though, lol. But I don't think it is what you are looking for

What I want for the hot weather is a solar oven! Between that and my microwave I think they would go a long way to keeping the house cooler. I bought a microwave cookbook to that end, but I didn't really investigate further
