Faithr
Roasted cauliflower soup! That sounds scrumptious! Take 17 yo to his last math tutoring session - he's successfully completed Algebra II! It only took him two years. LOL. Call dr to get prescription refilled I am not sure about the rest of the day - it could deviate from our usual Fridays. Also, it is has been an especially tiring, busy week. Tonight 14 yo goes to swing dance Listen to 23 yo's radio show.
SKL
Today started out pretty well. Kids were on their way to the school bus in record time. Nobody has bugged me about work so far. I got a few work things out. I thought maybe I would take a nap this morning. Then I suddenly remembered that I have a client call at 11am for which I need to prepare. Ugh. Oh well, at least it's Friday. Today's list: Kids up & out to school bus. [done] Clean kitchen and some clutter. [done] Pet care. [done] Work. A little exercise. A little reading. Fold and put away the last of the laundry. Call Little Gym and arrange a make-up for tonight. Maybe some personal paperwork. Kids finish and mail the pen pal letters. Kids to gymnastics - or we do yoga at home. Out to dinner. Watch 2 shows on DVD. Kids to bed. Work.

We went from a totally open basement with one bedroom and one bathroom to creating a living room, two more bedrooms, another storage area, and another room. Its the biggest project we've ever tackled together and such a blast. (Mostly.) :D

I have more respect for my teens than at any point in my life ever, lol. Give him a huge hug for me and tell him he's awesome. Some of us rather bright and lovely folks are just plain math deficient. We work for every math problem. Completing this hurdle is AWESOME. :D
SKL
Well, on the positive side, my conference call got postponed again, until sometime next week. On the yucky side, I seem to have either caught a bug, or eaten something that didn't agree with me. I registered for a pile of Continuing Education classes for my professional licenses. I'm hoping to get these all out of the way early this time around, so I will have one less thing to worry about at year end. Ha! Now maybe I will sneak that nap I was talking about ....
ReadingMama1214
Today is all about finishing a research paper that I have due at 10pm. Only 2 pages to go and I am hoping to focus on it this morning. The last 2 weeks of a class always mean the housework suffers. There's a lot of laundry to catch up on this weekend! Hoping to get some reading practice in with DD. I plan to take a break on lessons when we are on vacation the next 2 weeks and want to get through the "th" phonogram before we leave.
Thinking Mom
So far, I threw the Saxon 1 TG across the room, scolded my 5yr old for calling a worksheet "dumb", decided we all needed to get out the house, ended up riding bikes the rest of the morning, and microwaved left-over Chinese food for lunch... Is it too late to redeem this Friday? redeem this homeschool?!?
