Spanish Immersion in Madrid for a Middle Schooler

Do you know of a truly all-Spanish immersion program in Madrid that will accept a middle-schooler?  Cultural activities are secondary to the language acquisition goal.  Thanks.

I'm not familiar with programs in Spain, but it would help for you to clarify.  Are you looking for a week or month-long program, or are you looking for something like a year-long boarding school, etc.?

I agree with yucabird. If you can be more specific, about what you are looking for, possibly someone there can help you.  If you were here in Colombia, a Middle Schooler who is not fluent in Spanish would be lost in a regular school. Possibly there are short term programs in private language institutes where most of the students are learning English and they also teach Spanish, but that would probably be a few hours in the mornings or afternoons.Are you living in Europe, or is there some reason for wanting to learn that type of Spanish and not Latin American Spanish which is widely spoken in the USA?

I have friends in Spain who could act as emergency contacts should we need them.  That's why Spain.

 

We are looking for a summer-only, language-acquisition-focused program that accepts middle-schoolers.

There's exchange programs that involve families, such as En Famille or Adolesco. You may have to host a Spanish kid in your home though :)
