grantmeawish
Dd is 9 and her permanent molar is coming in but it's bleeding when she brushes where the tooth meets the other molar. Does bleeding happen in older kids or maybe her teeth are crowded?
wapiti
Yes of course. The gum stretches to accommodate the tooth. There can be a good deal of soreness, especially while brushing. (ETA, it is the gum that bleeds, not the tooth) Edited February 23, 2016 by wapiti
East Coast Sue
One of my kids had bleeding (from the gum) while her 6 year molars were coming in. It bled off and on for almost a week until the gum gave way to the tooth.
