kdeno Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I have 2 slipcover questions. Is there a current slipcover that will fit on the discontinued sleeper? It has 2 seat cushions. The other question is about the fabric. I had a crate and barrel slipcovered couch that washed great. The white ektorp bleaches and looks great however the texture of the fabric gets dirty looking so quickly. :( I have the cheap white covers. Are the linen-look covers any better? Are the colors better? Thank you!!!! Quote
arnold Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I have a couch and the loveseat (2 cushions). I also have the white covers and have noticed the tag says NOT to bleach; so I don't. If needed, I use stain spray and a good detergent and that's all. I wash mine a lot (3 kids and a dog) and have not noticed any texture problems with the fabric. I believe the linen covers are dry clean only; which would not work at our house. 1 Quote
kdeno Posted February 21, 2016 Author Posted February 21, 2016 Thank you, dry clean wouldn't be feasible her either. I wash mine twice a month and I am getting tired of it. Do you find yours shows everything? That is a weird question about a white slipcover. :) Quote
Luckymama Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 The fabric of my white slipcovers has a strong diagonal weave and doesn't seem to show dirt easily. Op, are yours like that? Quote
kdeno Posted February 22, 2016 Author Posted February 22, 2016 I don't think my couches have the diagonal weave. It is hard for me to tell. Quote
