ExcitedMama Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 We use a virtual charter school so I am trying to use up the remaining funds we are allotted for the year. These are recommended for science but I cannot find much about them. They would be used with a science curriculum so not meant to be our only science but a fun and informative addition. Has anyone used them? Thanks! AggieMama Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I'm bumping, especially for Earlybird Science. Quote
Targhee Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I used the Early Bird science with DS in 2nd grade. He likes science, and enjoyed the books (we did all 4 in a year), but they're nothing remarkable. Most of it is seat work, with some experiments with household things. It was nice he could use them almost independently at that age though (strong reader, science lover) when I had three other young kids. I am for informal and interest driven science until somewhere in the middle school years, so this worked in that regard. Quote
