lulalu
Ok- I have seen this mentioned here recently. Looking at it I am wondering a few things. What makes this so amazing? Is this offering more than just picking songs ourselves to learn? I like the looks of it. I just cant tell if it worth buying or if we would easily be able to make it ourselves. Monica_in_Switzerland
i got it, looked through it, then gave it to my SIL who uses it and really likes it. Yes, I think you can do it yourself. My recollection, and it has been a LONG while, is that it's sort of like FIAR but with music. I love the way it includes a little bit of Claatholic in each day, it wold be a great circle time thing, but at the time I got it, I just had too much on my plate. Now my kids are mostly tots a go big, and that brings other things to my plate. lol. It's not bad, but it's not blow-me-away amazing either. If you're looking for a way to add a little Catholic flavor to your day, I think it could be a good choice.
carriede
I have an old missalette that I teach hymns out of. If I remember correctly, most of the other stuff are kiddie songs and finger plays. I opted not to. But I also opted out of Classically Catholic Memory to "make my own". Yeah right. ;)
Syllieann
I like it, and for me it is worth it. I basically had no idea what I was doing with early music. Going through it has helped me learn to teach rhythm and melody to my kids. At this point I could apply it to other things, but I couldn't have before. If you've ever worked in early childhood music you probably don't need it. The songs are chosen to include a variety, but you could do that yourself too if you were so inclined. I like having it all done for me in a way that reflects the liturgical seasons. I bought it when my oldest was 3 so the bang for the buck was pretty big. Not sure it would be worth it for a 4 year old that is the youngest/only.
