We have done little to no science as we are dealing with CAPD however I think my daughter is ready and is very excited about adding science into our homeschool. Mom, not so much!

Here is what I am looking for. Open and go, no brainer for me with some experiments thrown in. Her comprehension and writing skills are delayed due to her CAPD. She is working at probably mid third grade level. We are looking for a secular program.

Thank you.

We like Mr. Q. The life science curriculum is free, so you can try it out easily.

It requires little to no writing. He includes cross words and such to review vocabulary words in each chapter, but they can easily be skipped or done orally. The activities and experiments are easy and don't require exotic supplies. It is secular.

We are enjoying Home Science Adventures by Stratton House. I find it very open and go. It also comes with everything you need for the demonstrations/experiments so no hunting around for random items. My boys enjoy it.
