Renthead Mommy Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I have been trying to unsubcribe from CNN Student News for about a year a half now. At least a few times a week I go hit the unsubscribe button. Sometimes it does nothing. Won't hit, won't even acknowledge I am hitting it. But most of the time it works. It takes me to the page and always tells me I have 'successfully unsubscribed'. But almost two years later, I am still getting the daily emails from them. Anyone have any idea how to get it to stop? There is no contact info on the CNN Student site. I am so tired of this and disappointed that CNN is like this. Quote

You can mark it as spam and that may result in its being permanently shuttled to the spam folder. Alternately you can set up a filter and send it immediately to the trash. ETA Here is the feedback page. It's was pretty buried: http://www.cnn.com/feedback/ Edited February 12, 2016 by Barb_ Quote

Other days it is in the regular inbox. But I still have to empty the spam folder or those emails count in my unread email number that pops up. And I can't just send the whole thing to trash because sometimes real emails end up in there. But really, it should have nothing to do with my inbox. There should be a way to make this stop. I get spammers trying to keep you in their loop, but CNN? It is just crazy. Thanks for the link. I will try there. Quote
Tree Frog Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I have this problem with ebags. Ordered once, forever on their email list. I just send the nearly daily emails to spam. (My dd loves the bag we bought, but still...) Quote
