TammyS
So, Hive, do you know where I can find good clothes pins? I can't seem to find any anymore. They are all thin wood, with weak (sometimes useless) springs. Where do you get heavy duty clothes pins with thick, stiff springs?
Nan in Mass
Unfortunately, no. I guard my older ones jealously. Sigh. Nan
MercyA
I can't vouch for these, not having tried any. However, this store caters to the Amish and they hang all their laundry: http://non-electric.lehmans.com/search#w=clothespins
TammyS
Unfortunately, no. I guard my older ones jealously. Sigh. Nan Me, too. The kids (and the dh) like to use clothespins for all sorts of non-laundry things. If I catch them using one of my "good" (old) ones, I get medieval.
fairfarmhand
I found mine at Walmart. They are bamboo and very solid with sturdy springs. I've not broken one yet. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-Bamboo-Clothespins-50pk/21296203 Here's the link, but it says they're no longer available. Perhaps in the spring when more people are thinking of hanging clothes they will restock?
