1095-C (tax form) question

Nope, you don't need to submit that form with your taxes. If you e-file (and who doesn't?), there will be a spot to check off the number of months you were each covered by health insurance. Save the form with this year's other tax forms in the very unlikely event of an audit.

Thanks

I did e-file, but I can't for the life of me recall that question being asked.  But it could have been.  LOL

It was there somewhere. It might have been a single checkbox like "did (Wendy, mr. wendy, Son 1, son 2) have health insurance all 12 months?" If you checked yes, it fills the schedule for you. If you checked no, it would drill down and ask who was covered which months. It probably also asked you if you were covered under medicaid expansion or if you bought a plan in the exchange for your state. I'm pretty sure your state has an exchange. And because you are not you clicked no, along with all of the other forgettable checkboxes about being a beneficiary of a foreign trust and if you have any gambling winnings to report, lol.
