Kay in Cal
My boys are in the tub, and I step in to discover there are 2 inches of water on the floor in the bathroom. I start to read the riot act and my ds says: "But we're reenacting the yearly flooding of the Nile! Every second is equivalent to a year!" I knew that history stuff would make trouble...:glare:
threecsnme
That is too cute! Not so much fun to clean up, but at least you know they were listening while you were teaching :D
LadyAberlin
That sounds like something my boys would do LOL.

Unicorn.
LOL! I read "My boys are in the tub", before clicking on the thread, and I KNEW what they were doing! Well, on the bright side, the bathroom floor should be clean by now! :0)
magistramom
Snort!!! How funny! You know, it really does leak into everything (pun not intended)... I can only imagine what might happen at your house, with boys, after reading about the Ides of March and learning Latin... Pugno! The knowledge and activities in SOTW will put you in some stereotypical homeschool situations where your kids will be odd next to others - but we totally understand here!!! When the kids had an elephant ride last year - all their talk in line beforehand was of Hannibal and the Swiss Alps. I felt so geeky being surrounded by parents and kids talking about the big feet, trunk, and hairy hide of the elephant...
KidsHappen
It so hard to be mad at them when they come up with something like this. :glare:
