another cell phone question...cases

WOW....everybody must put their phones in a case because most of you who answered my cell phone color question said you had to remove the case to find out. (so thanks for doing that for me) :)

 

I understand the need for a case, but I have never found one that I like...they all make my phone way too big and bulky.  I am not hard on my phone, so I don't worry too much...I do buy a protective sheet for the front...but that is it.

 

My phones have always been black, but I wanted to buy a new one on Ebay and the only one that I wanted (in the price range that I could afford) was white...so I didn't have a choice...and that is what made me think to ask the question.

 

So, now my new question is, where can I find a super slim case for my phone...it's a samsung galaxy core prime.   I love being able to just slip it in my back pocket, or a small bag...but the cases I have found made that hard or impossible.

I bought my case from Amazon. Mine's an S4, which is slightly bigger than the core prime, and I haven't struggled to put it in my back pocket.  I'm not sure what kind of cases you've looked at, but I haven't had any (at least, not that I can remember) that have added significant bulk to my phones.

 

I generally choose cases for their added grip.  I'm a butterfingers.

I think DH got mine on super clearance on Amazon. It's a gel kind so it's really grippy. I love that, plus it's pink. :)

 

It's definitely not bulky.

I think you want a gel case versus one of the foam cases.

The ones with stands, etc will be thicker. I have some devices with the gel cases and some with foam. The foam cases are much thicker though  do provide more protection from drops.

Samsung hopefully sells a Flip Shell for your phone, like the one that came with my Motorola Moto G last week. This is normally an accessory, but was included in the box with my phone. This Flip Shell ADDS ALMOST NOTHING to the bulk of your cell phone.  When you want to use the phone, the cover flips around to the back and then you hold it like any normal cell phone that is "Candy Bar" style. This will really protect my phone.  I would like to buy one of those Flip Shells for my wife's new Moto G phone. Here's the link so you can see what it looks like and hopefully get one for your Samsung.  DD has a Samsung.
