X-Files Fans: 2/1 Episode

What did everyone think of the new episode last night? I liked it, especially the scene where Mulder went on and on about what he'd say, how Scully would reply, and his counter to her point. By the end I thought she'd be back asleep.

 

I think the episode showed that Mulder's apparent wavering belief in aliens and such is just temporary. I think being around Scully will revive him emotionally and career-wise.

I thought it was surprisingly campy.  I don't remember camp when I watched the show before (I was quite young though, and didn't see them all).

 

I really liked the end.

I enjoyed it. To me the camp seemed perfect for a monster-of-the-week show. Parts of the original series were indeed very campy. 

 

I absolutely love the way the two of them are interacting.

I liked it.  I thought it good timing in the series for a lighter funny episode.  

 

There definitely were campier episodes in the original series like the episode that was reality show styled like an episode of Cops.

I thought it was good campy fun and a good break from the first 2 episodes.

 

The first thing we need to do is find another motel.

 

Mostly what I love about the new episodes is that they didn't change the original opening.

I thought it was hilarious and really liked it. The line about finding another motel was awesome :) The cemetery scene had us all laughing here.

Loved it. Just goofy enough. Mulder was on his game. I is happy. :D
