15 year old boy impromptu birthday ideas?

So, we had decided to celebrate our 15yo's birthday this weekend due to a crazy schedule.  So, nothing planned for today.  Any ideas on what we could do today with no planning to make it special for him?

Skip school work? Go to a matinee? Go bowling? If you can't find a deal (coupon/cheaper lunch menu) for a restaurant for lunch, then go for ice cream or milk shakes. 

 

Or a museum. Or park.

Just family today?  Skip school work.  Order pizza or whatever food makes him happy.  Have a family cake, a few presents if you don't have to give them this weekend?  Do a scavenger hunt?  Take him out shopping to spend birthday money?
