mom2bee Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I'm trying to find books on Northern Irish culture and History, historically anything that speaks about civil wars/tensions within the last 100 years up to today, specifically I'd like to learn more about the history of The IRA, The Troubles, etc. I have asked my library for On Anothers Man Wound and Liam Lynch: The Real Chief but its going to take a while since they are coming through ILL. Is there a website or documentary that you can recommend for an introductory overview of history? Some countries have their national curriculum online in PDF form, but I can't find anything from N. Ireland. I know we have users from the UK on this board. Can anyone help me out on the modern culture part? Quote

Laura Corin Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Apparently, the NI national curriculum is based on the one in England and Wales, but I don't know in what ways it differs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Education_in_Northern_Ireland#Curriculum Quote
