Anyone ever use both of these and can compare what is pro/con of these? It seems like FLL is maybe drier? It has diagramming and LLFT does not. I can't decide. I've visually seen both but can't quite determine which to use. I was hoping to get some feedback from people with actual experience.

FYI: LLFT (language lessons for today) FLL (first language lessons).

I am using FLL for first grade (currently) with Ruth Heller's noun books thrown in (Merry-Go-Round and A Cache of Jewels), but plan on using Serl's Primary Language Lessons for second grade.  I own Serl's.  I am also very tempted to buy ELTL.  I had not seen LLFT.

Following, I'm planning to use LLFT 2 (along with MFW Adventures) next year. It seems more interesting and less dry than FLL. I want the narration, dictation, etc., lessons, but I am a little concerned about the grammar part. Has anyone combined LLFT and Rod &  Staff English (grammar / comp)?
