Jean in Newcastle Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I think I'm going to do this! 1 Quote
idnib Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Looks great! The kids are wanting to focus on chemistry next year so I'll be making this. Not to mention, I've been wanting to laminate something! I think I'll go to Kinkos to print it out though. I only have a b&w printer and the colors look so nice. Quote
Mrs. Y Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I thought this particular illustrated periodic table was neat. I also think, as mentioned in the comments of the original article, calling out the periodic table abbreviations would be a great way to learn them (vs. the typical Battleship style coordinates). 3 Quote

That illustrated one is great! So good for kids who need a why to remember a what. Thank you! 1 Quote
katilac Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 This is a comment from the original link: Erin Elizabeth · Customer Care Representative (CCR) at Alta Resources I suppose you could also play "Guess Who" also! Teach them about the various numbers associated with each element! Are you a member of the Alkaline family? etc. So many opportunities! Like · Reply · 7 · Jan 18, 2016 4:13pm 3 Quote
Mrs. Y Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Ideas...ideas.... You could also play this with a chart of the U.S. Presidents. Or a chart of state flags. Or country flags. 1 Quote
