Rose in BC Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Anyone have any prize winning, make ahead, vegetable dishes that can be eaten cold (only microwave access)? I'm thinking of making vegetarian pizza. Do you think that could win a prize? Open to new recipes. You guys really came through with lots of delicious chocolate recipes last time. Quote
Anne in CA Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 If you use a really good white sauce on your pizza and do high quality cheese, absolutely. Quote
Ottakee Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I have a wonderful cucumber salsa but not sure how it would work for what you need. Quote

My recipe has a smoky tomato sauce, a couple different cheeses, spinach, red pepper, sundries tomatoes, carmelized onions. Quote
clementine Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 My veggie pizza recipe is a favorite at our house. It is eaten cold. 2 rolls of refrigerated crescent roll dough (original). Roll sheets of dough out to cover a 9x13 inch cookie sheet. Press seams together and give the sides a little lip. Bake at temp on pkg, for about 11 min or until golden brown. Take out & let cool. Mix 16oz sour cream with one envelope Hidden Valley Ranch dip mix. Spread onto cooled dough. Using my pampered chef chopper to make tiny pieces, chop: carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. Put layers of each veggie on top of dip. Some people add shredded cheddar, black olives, diced fresh tomatoes, etc. Whatever your family enjoys. 1 Quote
