Faithful_Steward
Is there a free email service that doesn't require you to provide a current email address and phone number? I've tried Outlook, gmail, and yahoo. I want to ditch an old email address and I don't want it following me. :) Thanks! Aiden
You can create a burner email. Pick a service you don't really want and create it using your old email. Then pick the service you do want and create it using the burner email. Then delete the burner email if you want to, though it is a good idea to have a backup email in case you get locked out of your primary one: you can have it set to send password reminders and such to the backup.
maize
Ask a friend to let you use their account to set up your new one? Set up a new account, use that to set up another account, then delete the intermediary? You could even make a chain of intermediaries that could be later deleted. Companies don't want to make it too easy for spammers to set up a gazillion accounts.
Faithful_Steward
The burner email is perfect! I'll check out hush mail when I get home. I can't seem to access a free option from the mobile site. Thanks!
Faithful_Steward
I can't seem to get around the phone verification. This is frustrating!
Guest
I use openmailbox.org, but a lot of friends have switched to ruggedinbox. Riseup.net is also privacy friendly if you know someone who can send you an invite.
